Warrington Haunting
We had moved to Warrington GA due to my ex husbands job
change. We came across the cutest old 2 story home that I
have ever seen. We found out later that it use to be an old civil
war hospital. When we first moved in, we had notice an old
bassinet in the downstairs bedroom that was not there when we
looked at the house. Later that day I asked the owner did he
put it there...he said no...so we let it stay there. The downstairs
is where the boys, at the time ages 2 and 1, stayed due to I
was afraid they would fall down the stairs. The oldest son was 8
so he had a room upstairs along with my 6 yr old daughter. The
oldest daughter was 11 but she stayed with her grandmother at
the time.
Two days after we had moved in, my husband decided to take
the kids to his mother's so we could finish unpacking. While he
was gone that is when the fun begin. I was in the hallway
vacuuming when out of the corner of my eye I caught what
looked like a man sitting on the boys bed. He had on what
looked to be the clothing back in that era and I noticed that his
sleeves had ruffles at the end of them down by his hand. I
stopped to looked again but he was gone. I figured it was just
the hair that hanging over my eyes due to looking down &
being tired. I told my husband about this & he told me it was a
new place so I was just seeing things.
As time went on, things started happening. 5am on the dot
every morning the covers were taken off my husband & he was
shook till he woke up. This was not me, but in the process I was
awoken by it also. My husband would get up, turning on every
light, then leave for work. I would get back in bed and would
feel someone in be with me but nothing I could ever see.
My 2 yrs old would sit in the hallway at the end of the stairs
holding up his hands as a child would for someone to pick them
up. He would sit there starring, laughing, clapping as if playing
some sort of a game. The whole time his eyes were fixed on
something in front of him.
My oldest daughter would come on the weekends till she got
scared out of her mind. She was taking a shower in the
downstairs bathroom when she let a bone chilling scream. She
runs out of the bathroom to the outside. She was in the yard
wet and naked. I ran behind her with a towel for her to wrap up
in. She said that a man was in the shower with her. I went to the
bathroom to turn off the water and seen nothing. Took me a
few hours to get her back in the house. This was dead middle
of the winter.
When the kids would rowdy, I would hear a man's voice telling
them to stop it. I would look out to see if my ex husband was
home and he wouldn't be. I would look through the house and
never found anyone. At times you could feel as if there was
someone touching you. One time, you could see my hair
moving from where he was sitting there playing with it. We went
to town to see if we could get a priest to come to the house. No
one would come.
Finally my husband left for work one day and never returned. I
was left there with the kids cause I was in love with this house. I
stayed there for 3 more months till I couldn't deal with it
anymore. He would move things around in the house and
always aggravating me. When we packed up our things, I stood
outside looking up at the big window on the 2nd floor and he
was standing there looking down at me.
I feel like he has moved with us though. This was 10 yrs ago
and we still have the same things going on no matter where we
live. Houston is now 11, Jesse 12, Robbie 18, Nikki 16 and
Heather 21 (she was the one about the shower) and still
remembers this. She is always asking me what is going on in
the home and sometimes she won't bring my grandbaby here.
She says she doesn't want him playing with ghost. Jesse is the
one who use to play with him when he was little. To this day he
still sees him and talks to him. Why is it he can see him and I
can't anymore? I only feel him.
