| Streator, Illinois Investigation Continued... Initial Investigation April 11, 2007 Updated Info December 28, 2007 |
Sometimes after publishing the findings of an Investigation there
are others who have had similar experiences in the house or
building, who will offer their information to help in the research of
the Investigation. Such is the case with the Streator Investigation.
We received an email from the previous owner of the house that
lived there before Jason and his family. Below is her account of
paranormal activity in the house.

The Email December 2007
Hello,I'm Jason's wifes aunt I was the one that sold them the
house in Streator. I owned the house for around 10 or 11 years
before they bought it and through the years we had our own
experiences. For instance we would be sitting down to dinner and
hear footsteps and a door slamming upstairs. During late nights I
would often see a child on the staircase. It was strange because I
always saw it on the lower staircase and only from the corner of
my eye and never when looking straight at the stairs.
I've always gotten a creepy feeling that right inside the door of
attic there was something.
Our kids were young when we lived in the house and one night
they came screaming into the kitchen saying that, "they saw a
person in stripes walking from the staircase into the small hallway
leading to kitchen and bathroom.
The most frightening thing happened there was to me. Still to this
day it has an effect on me. One night while yet not quite asleep I
saw a big, black figure in the closet doorway of the master
bedroom. I don't know how to explain it, I knew with every fiber of
my being that this was something bad but for some reason he
couldn't pass through the doorway. I didn't know if i should
scream or what, then suddenly two large cat like creatures
appeared on either side of him and they walked into my room
along the bed and went out under one of the windows. I felt safe
but still very shaken up. To this day I cannot sleep with the closet
or bedroom door open.
When we first moved in the house our neighbor said they heard a
baby cry from our garage. It was loud enough that they truly
thought we put a child in there that they checked out our garage
to see.
These are things I know for a fact happened at this house. I
thought, you would find this interesting to go with your
investigation on this house.

A lot of what Becky wrote is very similar to Jason and his wifes
accounts of paranormal activity in the house. We also felt a
presence in the house and though the Video was quite awesome
for us to capture, we would love to go back into the house again
for further study. I am also working online trying to find some
History to this house as well and the neighborhood in which it is
situated. We have heard accounts about the Child like Ghost
from a few people now and that she has appeared in several
homes in the area of Jason's house.
You can be sure if we obtain further information about this we will
